John Abraham returns to Arizona Cardinals after pondering retirement
By Bryan Rose
While the Arizona Cardinals didn’t receive exactly encouraging news regarding the injury to quarterback Carson Palmer, the same can’t be said for former Pro Bowl linebacker John Abraham.

As you may recall, Abraham left the team last week after he suffered a concussion, one of many throughout his career. That wasn’t the only problem however as John Abraham has reportedly been dealing with memory loss for a few seasons now.
Understandably the line backer decided he needed to leave the team to speak with his family about his playing future, though it seems as if he’s made a decision and he will continue with the Arizona Cardinals for now.
While it’s fantastic news that he’ll continue playing the game he loves, there does have to be some concern from the medical standpoint, especially if Abraham is to suffer another head injury. Apparently that’s a risk he’s willing to take though as he’s expected to undergo the NFL’s concussion protocol in the next day or two and could be in uniform this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. As for the Arizona Cardinals, they reportedly don’t have any concerns regarding John Abraham’s desire and expect him to be the force that he’s always been.
His presence on the field is desperately needed as the Arizona Cardinals, despite starting 2-0, are in desperate need of a pass rush.
