Destiny has been out for exactly a week now, and as we discussed late last week, the Vault of Glass is ready to be unveiled.  The first high level raid event has been unlocked by Bungie, and gamers are encouraged to give the challenge a shot.  Officially, Vault of Glass opened at 2am pacific time this morning.

Destiny has made Vault of Glass truly a high level event.  The raid is set up to invite players ideally level 26 or higher.  Although you may be able to enter at a lower level, it likely would be in your best interest if your decided to take a different route.

With Destiny being a game designed to entertain gamers for the long haul, Vault of Glass is going to be open for the long haul.  There is no set timeframe as to which gamers must complete the raid.  Also, as many already are aware of with previous RPG experience, the raid can be completed any number of times in hopes of gathering different loot.

Destiny and Bungie have Vault of Glass set up as a six person raid, and the progress will only be saved for up to a week at a time once you enter the instance.  Both the level of your guardian, as well as the amount of “light” gear should be considered prior to entering the difficult mission.

Personally, I can’t wait to attempt Vault of Glass.  I’ve never been an MMO fan, but Destiny has me hooked.  However, I will be waiting a while as I am currently sitting just a tick above level 10.
