Those rumors you’ve heard about James Dolan having a band are true, and their music is just as terrible as you might imagine.

More from NBA

Actually it’s worse than you might imagine. It’s worse than almost anything your ears have ever been forced to endure.

Dolan and his band gave us a sampling of their work on FOX 5 and, let’s just say, Trampled By Turtles have nothing to worry about.

Okay I’m going to go really old man on this next reference so be ready.

Anyone out there remember Mark Russell?

If you don’t, here’s Mark Russell.

James Dolan badly wants to be the new Mark Russell. Without the bow tie. And with more kazoo.

This is what happens when rich people get a notion in their head. It becomes a huge embarrassment. But they’re like, “What do I care, I’m effing rich. So you have to listen to me do my crappy political satire songs.”

Let’s hope Dolan quickly gets it out of his system. Before he releases an album of duets with Weird Al.
