Four years ago, LeBron James left Cleveland for Miami, tearing down the hopes of Cavaliers fans as well as Nike’s symbolic banner reading “We Are All Witnesses” from the side of a building across from the Q.

Now all is forgiven and James is back in Cleveland. So is a banner on the building, according to the Plain Dealer.

"Images submitted to the Cleveland City Planning Commission on Tuesday show James with his arms stretched, once again, across the eastern face of the Landmark Office Towers, the Sherwin-Williams headquarters complex at the back of Tower City.On the new banner, James still stands beneath a puff of chalk dust, acting out a pre-game ritual. But this time, he’s not alone. He’s facing a crowd, instead of downtown. There’s no script. Just a simple Nike swoosh."

James returns home, but this time he is bringing Kevin Love and joining Kyrie Irving to form a new Big Three. Across the league and among fans of the NBA, it seems there is a more positive response to James choosing his own team and teammates in order to win a championship. The first time James did this by taking his talents to South Beach, he was greeted with jeers at every arena and ridicule in the media. Now, not so much.

And now the banner is going back up. It’s almost like those four seasons away from Cleveland never even happened. Except they did, and James won two NBA championships after hooking up with a player who taught him the ways of the clutchness and a coach who finally used him right. Other than that, though.
