Monday night on WWE RAW saw the final confrontation between John Cena and Brock Lesnar before they have their showdown this Sunday at Night of Champions. In the segment, Cena looked about as ferocious as he ever has before, getting the upper hand on Lesnar.

The fact that Cena looked so dominant should not be a surprise, especially since we now know who was behind the whole segment.

According to a report from PWInsider, the whole segment was the brainchild of one Mr. Vince McMahon, who has been doing anything and everything in his power since SummerSlam to make sure that Cena looks like the most unstoppable force that the company has ever seen.

"The “half-time” segment between John Cena and Brock Lesnar during “RAW” was Vince McMahon’s idea, at least according to PWInsider.com. McMahon reportedly planned the segment between the former and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion to take place during the “half-time” of the Sept. 15 “Monday Night Football” game to directly compete with the NFL’s flagship program."

Again, not shocking at all whatsoever that Vince sat down on Monday morning, or maybe earlier, and decided that he would have Cena tear through the man that made him look like a rookie back at SummerSlam.

Now, people are more worried than ever that Cena is going to walk away with the championship on Sunday, basically nullifying all of the amazing booking that took place back at SummerSlam.

Whether or not that’s the case, we will have to wait until Sunday to find out. But if you look around the internet, you can tell that there is a lot of worrisome fans out there, horrified at the thought of seeing Cena with his hand held high in Nashville come this Sunday night.

As always, we will have you covered for the entire Night of Champions even this Sunday right here in the FanSided WWE section.
