Adrian Peterson removed from Madden 15 Giferator

Earlier this month, we talked about a new taunting tool that EA Sports brought to Madden 15.  The Giferator.  With the online tool, you could create a GIF to antagonize your opponent and rub in a defeat you caused on the field.  EA Sports has now removed one of the Minnesota Vikings options, Adrian Peterson.

Since the Vikings have announced that Adrian Peterson will be spending time on the exempt list, EA Sports has made sure to remove him from some of their offerings as well.

As the GIFerator was just announced earlier this month, EA Sports took Peterson down without making much noise about it.  Now that Adrian Peterson has been removed a GIFable player, the Vikings remaining players include Matt Cassel, Chad Greenway, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Brian Robison.

While messing around with the GIF creator, you can see that switch, child, women, woman, abuse, violence, and whoop all are terms not able to be used.  However, domestic, whoopin, beatin, and kiddie are still usable terms.

Since the GIFerator essentially allows for user-created content, this move makes a lot of sense by EA Sports.  Considering the amount of damage that could be done by putting Adrian Peterson in a GIF, the best idea is just to remove him.

As of now, EA Sports has not announced anything along the lines of removing Peterson from Madden 15.  He is still on the Vikings as he has not been cut, something that Ray Rice did experience prior to being booted off of Madden 15.
