Report: Roddy White a lock to play vs. Buccaneers
By Sam Richmond
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White did not practice this week due to a hamstring injury; however, expect to the see Falcons star on the field when the team takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday.
Vaughn McClure of ESPN said there is “no doubt” about White’s availability for the Thursday night tilt.
White’s presence will be needed for the Falcons against the Bucs. While Tampa Bay is 0-2 and not a great team, Atlanta needs to be at its best to ensure it doesn’t leave Thursday with a 1-2 record.

McClure isn’t the only one that is confident about White’s status. Fellow receiver Julio Jones echoed a similar sentiment to the ESPN reporter on Wednesday.
"“If he can go, he’s going to go,” Jones said. “He’s going to be fine. I guess he had a hamstring, but he’s going to be fine. He always comes back.”"
White has caught 10 passes for 114 yards and one touchdown through two games this season.
Atlanta drafted White with the No. 27 pick in the 2005 NFL Draft. White has 695 catches for 9,550 yards and 56 touchdowns throughout career.
