Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens interested in BenJarvus Green-Ellis?
By Josh Hill
The NFL is suffering through a domestic abuse epidemic and that’s something that has made it hard to fans to love the game of football. It’s also something that has caused a slew of top-tier players to be lost to suspensions or pseudo-suspensions like Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson.

This lack of running back talent has forced eyes to stones yet unturned in free agency as there are a few running backs out there who could help a team in need. One of those backs, according to Jason La Canfora, is former Patriots and Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
According to La Canfora, the Vikings, Ravens and others may have interest in Green-Ellis if he proves to be healthy.
It’s not clear if the Vikings, Ravens or any of the other teams suffering from running back problems are directly interested in Green-Ellis but it makes a ton of sense. Minnesota has a pair of up and coming backs to replace Peterson with as do the Ravens, so he may not be a fit there.
He’s also still unproven outside of New England, despite a good year with the Bengals, as he’s injury prone and could end up being another lost running back this season even if he finds a team.
Then again, he may end up being someone’s savior at the position as well.
