Chargers’ Keenan Allen added to injury report
By Mike Dyce
San Diego Chargers Keenan Allen looks poised for a break out season. Heading into the 2014 campaign, everyone praised Allen for rounding out his game and becoming a legitimate deep threat.

Unfortunately for Allen he picked up some rib injuries along the way. Heading into the second week of the season he was listed as probable and in Week 2, against the Seattle Seahawks no less, Allen caught five of six passes for 55 yards. Allen also got the better of cornerback Richard Sherman a couple times though he doesn’t necessarily see it that way.
But it looks like Allen didn’t necessarily walk away from the Seahawks game injury free. Allen popped up on the injury report with a new injury, a groin ailment.
This is a new injury obviously, so that is troubling. It is possible that the injury occurred during Wednesday’s practice, and not during the Week 2 game against the Seahawks. Allen wasn’t entirely withheld from practice on Thursday either, he was just held to a limited session.
