The Orlando Magic have acquired a lot of talent but it is unknown if they have an all-star type of player on the roster. Center Nikola Vučević and guard Victor Oladipo are the most-likely candidates to develop into all-stars and forward Tobias Harris has the chance as well.

Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders doesn’t believe the Magic have an all-star.

"I don’t think Orlando will have an All-Star either. Victor Oladipo and Nikola Vucevic will likely be their most productive players, but look at the competition in the East. Oladipo will have to beat out players like Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose, John Wall, Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo, DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry and Lance Stephenson among others, which seems unlikely. Vucevic would be considered a frontcourt player, so he’d have to beat out players like LeBron James, Kevin Love, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Joakim Noah, Al Jeffersonm Andre Drummond, Luol Deng, Pau Gasol and the list goes on and on. I can’t see either making the All-Star game."

Kennedy is probably right bu that’s not the Magic’s concern at the moment. They are just trying to develop their young talent and hope it gels.

As a rookie, Oladipo averaged 13.8 points, 4.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting 41.9% from the field, 32.7% from beyond the arc and 78.0% from the charity stripe. Vučević averaged 14.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per game while shooting 50.7% from the field and 76.6% from the free throw line last season. In his three-year career, he’s put up 11.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.8 steals per game while shooting 50.4% from the floor, 27.3% from downtown and 70.4% from the charity stripe.
