Redskins injury woes continue: Jordan Reed out, DeSean Jackson questionable

The Washington Redskins aren’t catching many breaks after an ankle injury has Robert Griffin III sidelined, and now some more big names aren’t healthy for Washington. Tight end Jordan Reed is officially out for Sunday’s divisional matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jordan Reed is suffering from a hamstring injury and will be one less target for Redskins backup quarterback Kirk Cousins for Sundays came against a tough opponent in Philadelphia.

Desean Jackson is questionable for Sunday’s game as he sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder during the first quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

In his first season with Washington, Jackson has nine catches for 81 yards. He played the first six seasons of his career with the Eagles and amassed 356 catches, 6,117 yards and 39 total touchdowns.

Jordan Reed hasn’t been much of a factor for the Redskins this season. He only played in week one’s matchup against the Houston Texans where the Redskins struggled and he caught just one pass for four yards.

The Redskins are 1-1 after a 41-10 blowout victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. In week one, the Houston Texans dominated the Redskins defensively and won the game 17-6.

Without Robert Griffin III, the Redskins will try and stay competitive this season in one of football’s best divisions. The NFC East.
