The former Orlando Magic player is a fan favorite among many and appears to be a very solid signing for the Chicago Bulls. However, details of Moore’s contract were kept relatively quiet however Eric Pincus says the Bulls made a limited financial commitment to the Windy City native.
According to Pincus, the Chicago Bulls only guaranteed $425,000 dollars this season and are off the hook completely come year two of his contract, if they so choose.
Outside of Eric Bledsoe, who is commanding a max-contract, E’Twaun Moore was viewed by many to be possibly the best guard left in free agency. Not only did the Chicago Bulls bring him in, they did so on the cheap and have the ability to get themselves out of the deal relatively inexpensively.
It proves to be yet another solid move by the Chicago Bulls’ front office, who along with the Dallas Mavericks, may have had the best overall additions to their roster this past summer (excluding the Cleveland Cavaliers, of course).
