There’s still a possibility that Maurice Jones-Drew could see the field for the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon.

Even if he does though, it appears as if the Oakland Raiders are going to put the running game on the shoulder’s of Darren McFadden who is expected to receive a ‘heavy workload’ according to CSN Bay Area.

"Running back Maurice Jones-Drew was limited in his second practice back from hand surgery, and was questionable on the injury report. Whether he’s active or not, expect Darren McFadden to see a heavy workload."

Neither MJD nor Darren McFadden are exactly overwhelming options though each brings a different style of rushing to the game. It would probably be best for the Raiders to mix in both players in hopes that MJD’s pounding style of rushing will help McFadden’s quick burst attempts, though Oakland may be forced to pass much of the game anyway.

Earlier today the Oakland Raiders did say they’d like to get Marcel Reece more snaps, though we’ve heard them echo such a sentiment before only to not do so. Might they be willing to go through with such this week given their unattractive options and the fact that Reece can help in the passing game?

Either way, expect Darren McFadden to see the field often on Sunday. Hopefully he’s in one piece by the conclusion of the tilt.
