Suspended FSU QB Jameis Winston will be on sidelines vs Clemson
By Jack Crosby
The Florida State Seminoles will play one of their biggest games of the season on Saturday night, and they will do so by welcoming in the Clemson Tigers into Tallahassee. They will also be going about this game without the services of Heisman-winning quarterback Jameis Winston, who is suspended for the entire outing.
Despite him being suspended and not being in pads, Winston will still be on the sidelines on Saturday night inside Doak Campbell Stadium to help aid his backup, Sean Maguire.
Of course, it’s been known that Winston is allowed to be on the sidelines for this one. He’s suspended from action, not from being in the stadium all together.

Winston was suspended for the first half originally, following an incident this past week where he yelled a sexual obscenity in public on campus. But late Friday night, word came through that a decision had been made to bench him for the entire duration of the game.
Last season the Seminoles went into Death Valley and, behind the efforts of Winston, walked away with a convincing 51-14 victory. Could Clemson be thinking that, without Winston in the game, they could get the revenge they’ve been looking for for almost a year?
