The Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban announced in May of 2013 that the team was looking for new uniforms, and that they were opening the designing of the uniform to everyone.

"The Mavs are going to re-do our uniforms for the 2015-16 season… if we get a unique and original design. What’s the best way to come up with creative ideas ? You ask for them. So we are going to crowd source the design and colors of our uniforms. You know what an NBA uniform looks like. You know what the Mavs colors are for today and the past. We want some new ideas that stay true to our logo and at least close to our current color schemes. Show us what you got !"

The Mavericks eventually narrowed it down to 10 and let fans vote, and now it looks like they’ve found a winner and are unveiling the uniform Tuesday at noon inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas. It is part of the Mavericks’ Select-A-Seat event, which allows potential season ticket holders to look at the stadium and check out the vantage point of various seats they could consider buying season tickets for.

The new uniform unveil is an event that is open to the public for those curious fans who want to watch in person, and the Mavericks are serving complimentary popcorn and drinks.
