Washington Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall left Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles early. It looked like an Achilles injury, and Hall told reporters after the game that he thinks he tore it.

“They think I tore my Achilles,” Hall said, via CSN Washington.

It would be a big blow for the Redskins. Tracy Porter has missed the first three games with a hamstring injury. Rookie cornerback Bashaud Breeland saw a lot more action after Hall left the game.

Hall will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury, but Hall is clearly not optimistic.

“He was playing good ball for us,” Redskins safety Ryan Clark said, via ESPN. “We have to figure out a way not only to replace what he does on the field but also in the meeting room, on the practice field. That’s a huge loss for us. We have to find a way to compensate for him very quickly.”

“I feel terrible, man,” left tackle Trent Williams said, via the Washington Post. “He’s one of the leaders of this team, a captain, and one of my good friends. I hate to see him hurt to this extent. But he’s got a strong will, and I know he’ll come back stronger than ever.”
