The Seminoles were large favorites but the school suspended Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston for the game on Friday night.

The Seminoles used the game as a showcase for recruits and obviously, those players came away very impressed.

In fact, two 4-Star defensive end prospects in the class of 2016, Janarius Robinson and Josh Brown, gave their pledges to the Seminoles following the game.

The 6’5, 232-pound Robinson is a bit of a local product. Robinson attends Bay High School in Panama City, Florida. He is ranked as the country’s fourth-best weak-side defensive end prospect, the 10th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 56th-best overall prospect in the class of 2016 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

The 6’3, 210-pound Brown is an out-of-state prospect – he attends Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is ranked as the country’s 18th-best weak-side defensive end prospect, the 12th-best overall prospect in the state of North Carolina and the 324th-best overall prospect in the class of 2016 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

The Seminoles now have four commitments in the class of 2016, all 4-Star prospects.
