During the second half of the New Orleans Saints’ 20-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, Drew Brees got thrown down by Captain Munnerlyn, who was called for a personal foul for throwing Brees into the ground. The quarterback surprised everyone when he got up and heatedly went at the defender.

According to Mike Triplett of ESPN.com, Drew Brees was laughing about it after the game.

"After he had an hour to cool off, Drew Brees was laughing about the unnecessary roughness penalty that changed the course of Sunday’s game. Brees called the hit by Vikings cornerback Captain Munnerlyn a “straight Hulk Hogan 1985 WrestleMania suplex.”But when it first happened, the Saints quarterback was red-hot. He got up and charged after the wrong player at first — safety Robert Blanton — before later chatting with Munnerlyn, who was flagged for driving him too hard into the ground after a sack.“He said that wasn’t a penalty. I said, ‘Of course it was, you suplexed me,’” Brees said. “‘But listen, I like you, I think you’re a good football player. I appreciate the 15 yards, thank you.’”"

Brees is typically calm and collected during the games, focused on leading his high-powered offense. However, everything gets a bit personal when it comes to the body. Brees clearly thought the hit was over the line and so did the officials. When you win handedly 20-9, though, it’s easy to laugh about after the game.
