Endless Legend, the turn-based fantasy strategy game from developer Amplitude Studios and publisher Iceberg Interactive, has left Early Access and is now live on Steam. The game is also on sale in physical form in Germany, France and the UK, and the boxed version includes a full color manual (something of a lost art form these days) and an art book showing off all eight of Endless Legend‘s playable factions.

Speaking of the eighth faction, Amplitude kept it a secret right up until the end, but finally revealed it as The Cultists of the Eternal End. Worshipping a Queen entombed in an indestructible throne, the Cult can convert and train the tribes and vagrants on the surface of Auriga. And once beings turn to the Cult, they serve it until death, as you can see in the reveal trailer below:

There’s also a launch trailer for the game in general, showing off some of its features, which include 16 minor factions, nearly 100 technologies to research across four eras, eight potential win scenarios and plenty of surprises to be uncovered by heroes sent to explore the corners of the game world.

Endless Legend is our biggest and most complex game to date,” Romain du Waubert, COO and Creative Director at Amplitude Studios, said in a press release. “By tapping into our responsive community and constantly looking to improve, we believe we’re offering 4X and strategy gamers something completely different to what’s on the market today. As with our previous game Endless Space and its many free upgrades, the release is the beginning of a great collaborative adventure between the studio and the players.”

Endless Legend can be purchased now on Steam for $34.99 for the Classic Pack or $44.99 for the Founder Pack.
