Jacksonville Jaguars to give Denard Robinson more playing time
By Bryan Rose
It appears the youth movement is in full effect for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The coaching staff did what they could to keep the veteran talent on the field, but after three putrid performances, changes were needed.

One such change was implemented during the second half of Jacksonville’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts as quarterback Chad Henne was benched in favor of rookie Blake Bortles. Now it appears the football reaper could be coming for Toby Gerhart as the Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff says Denard Robinson will be given more reps moving forward.
Unlike Henne, who isn’t part of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ future, the team did invest in Toby Gerhart so they’re not going to completely abandon him by any stretch. However, given his very sub-par start to the season, there is really no reason not to get Denard Robinson more involved in the rushing attack.
Of course, thanks to Jacksonville’s poor offensive line, there isn’t going to be much room for Robinson to run and he’ll be facing a similar problem as Gerhart. Still, a more explosive runner, the hope is that Robinson will be able to spring a leak or two and make a play with his feet.
Looks like a timeshare could be forming in Florida.
