92-year-old makes hilarious sign for Derek Jeter (Photo)

Different fans have different ways to pay respect to New York Yankees’ shortstop Derek Jeter in his farewell season. Not all of these efforts are created equal, and I dare say that this elderly fan has everybody beat with the sign she made for Jeter.

There are a number of ways that an older fan can show how loyal they are and how long they have been sticking it out with their team. Truly, there has never been, nor will there ever be, a better way to express that fact than this woman and her plea to Jeter to have him give her a souvenir.

For goodness sake, can somebody please make sure that Jeter sees that sign? That is more than worthy of a visit from ‘the Captain.’ She more than deserves at least a baseball for that, and I am confident that Jeter would agree.
