Well, the SEC apparently was not pleased with what they saw on Saturday, much like everyone who was watching live.

But unlike the fans that were disgusted, the conference has the power to do something about it and they did just that on Tuesday. The SEC has announced that Day will be suspended one game for his behavior.

This is a solid move by the SEC, showing that acts like Day performed will not be tolerated on their fields. Hopefully other players in the conference will take note of how swiftly they moved on Day and will think twice before they perform something like Day did. You know, stuff like this:

Mississippi State is off this week, so Day will miss the game in Week 6 against the Texas A&M Aggies.
