Jared Lorenzen goes all Bobby Knight during BBN Legends Alumni Game
It’s hard to forget about Jared Lorenzen, the Kentucky quarterback who was famous for being bigger than his offensive lineman and routinely being larger than the defenders trying to tackle him. Well the hefty lefty seems to be up to quite the shenanigans as of late. Friday night he was a celebrity coach in a charity basketball game in the state of Kentucky and he discovered his inner Bobby Knight on the sidelines.

Lorenzen was coaching in the BBN Legends Alumni game when he may have gotten just a bit too fired up. “He Ate Me” didn’t agree with a call made on the floor against one of his players, and you guessed it, he picked up his chair and let it fly. The pictures are just glorious.
Apparently Jared could actually be facing a suspension for his temper tantrum on Friday night and he was also hit with a technical foul almost immediately.
Lorenzen tweeted out the photos late last night and said he stands by it and is glad he used the opportunity to get his players fired up. As someone who watched The Round Mound of Touchdown during his playing days in Lexington, it’s good to see him still making waves in the world of sports. Maybe next time he can actually manage to get himself ejected from a game.
