As we head into the second quarter, Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers found themselves trailing Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles 7-3. That was until Frank Gore came along.

The play wasn’t looking very good as the 49ers found themselves at 2nd and 17. Kaepernick took the snap and rather quickly found himself under some pretty intense pressure.

Two defensemen had already broken through the offensive line and were heading straight for Kaepernick.

Under pressure, he scrambled to his left and quickly unloaded the ball in what looked like an unsteady pass to running back Frank Gore.

The Eagles defense caught up with Gore at about the 20 yard line, but Gore was able to break free and make his way into the end zone for the touchdown.

This is something you just have to see for yourself. Take a look at the amazing 55 yard touchdown by Frank Gore.

Gore’s 55 yard touchdown is a new personal best for the 49ers running back.

This is certain to make those who have Gore in their fantasy lineups jump for joy. He hit a bit of a slump in last week’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, but Gore is well on his way to making up for that today against the Eagles.
