Philip Rivers hits Malcolm Floyd for the gorgeous touchdown (Video)

Philip Rivers has been playing as well as any quarterback in the NFL through the first four weeks of the 2014 season. That includes a statement win against the Seattle Seahawks in week 2 and an impressive road win against the Buffalo Bills and their punchy defense in week 3.

The context of Rivers’ week 4 game is a little different, as the San Diego Chargers just have to make sure that they don’t stub their toes at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a game that many people assumed would be a blowout, the Chargers have had their work cut out for them thus far.
That’s not for lack of nice throws from Rivers, however, including this beautiful touchdown in the corner of the end zone to Malcom Floyd.
This is truly a case where Rivers put the ball in the perfect spot, where only Floyd could make a play on it and where Floyd could catch the ball in stride.
