Garoppolo was fairly impressive in the preseason and although the Patriots and their fans hate the circumstances, it was nice to see him get his first action. Trailing 41-7, he took the Patriots 81 yards in seven plays, headlined by a 44-yard pass to Brandon LaFell.
Garoppolo capped off the drive with a 13-yard touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski powered his way into the end zone for the score.
