Four the fourth straight season and five out of their last six, the St. Louis Cardinals will be in the MLB postseason.

That’s a pretty impressive statistic and one that any franchise, even the New York Yankees, would be proud of. Also proud of that fact? The St. Louis Cardinals who are boosting about their ability to make the postseason on a new t-shirt.

The ‘local’ tee (which every team gets, in some form) seemingly takes a shot at the rest of the National League suggesting a playoff birth has almost become a right of passage for the St. Louis Cardinals.

The St. Louis Cardinals have one of the best (and most knowledgeable) fan bases in all of baseball so if anybody deserves the right to wear such a shirt, it’s the Cards. Still, it does seem to send a bit of a dig at the opposition.

In addition to their playoff streak the St. Louis Cardinals have also won two of the last three World Series’. The only other team in recent memory to have such success are the San Francisco Giants who won the World Series in 2010 and 2012. They too just so happen to be in the postseason, though wouldn’t face the St. Louis Cardinals until the National League Championship.

St. Louis will open their postseason against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
