Former Pro Bowl cornerback and current NFL analyst Deion Sanders created quite the wave of controversy when he stated players on the San Francisco 49ers roster were tired of head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Sanders, despite being out of the game for quite some time, is still beloved by current players and had close-knit relationships with most. Given that, many took Sanders’ word to be truthful though San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Alex Boone isn’t feeling the comment. In fact Boone says Deion Sanders needs to keep the 49ers name out of his mouth.

“If you’re not in our locker room, then keep the 49ers name out of your mouth,” Boone told The Damon Bruce Radio Show. “Let’s just do that because you have no idea what goes on inside our locker room. For guys to talk about ‘oh so and so told me this,’ ‘who’s so and so?’ ‘Oh I can’t tell you that.’ Because it’s probably not true. It’s not important.”

It’s not exactly a secret that Jim Harbaugh can rub people the wrong way and has a history of doing so, though its obvious feathers have been ruffled on both sides.

For what it’s worth, Jim Harbaugh himself commented on the situation on Monday calling Deion Sanders’ view ‘a bunch of crap‘.

Safe to say there’s at least one San Francisco 49ers player in Jim Harbaugh’s corner.
