Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has managed to remain relatively healthy throughout his 11-year career. However, James has dealt with back issues from time to time.

It appears those issues have crept back on James, as he told Cleveland.com that his back is “iffy” right now.

"“It’s come and go,” James said following the Cavaliers’ practice on Tuesday. “From the start of camp it’s been kind of iffy. I’m doing everything to get it back, and I’m used to it, at the start of camp just getting back into basketball shape.“It kind of comes and goes, but I’ve been able to practice and go full go every day without limitations, and that’s a good sign.”"

Anytime a player is bothered by something there’s some reason to pay attention, but James’ back doesn’t seem to be a huge issue at the moment.

"Later, a source said the Cavaliers are not concerned about anything injury related with James."

James added that he wasn’t sure of his status for Tuesday night’s practice, but it wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if Cleveland played it safe and rested him. The last thing the Cavs want to do right now is push James, considering the heavy burden of responsibility the team will ask him to carry once the regular season rolls around.

LeBron averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game with the Miami Heat last season.
