“Oh yes, I can’t wait,” Jackson told the Cincinnati Enquirer when asked about the return of receiver Marvin Jones.
Jones was second on the team with 712 receiving yards in 2013 while adding 10 touchdowns in a complementary role to starter AJ Green.
“He can run and catch,” Jackson continued. “Not only does he take the top off, he scores a lot of touchdowns, too. This is a fun part about our guys. We have a multitude of different guys that you can use.”
Marvin Jones missed all but one practice in training camp and the preseason and is now just returning for the regular season after suffering a broken foot. Now with the Bengals already looking better than ever on offense, he hopes to pick up where he left off in a promising 2013 campaign.
“I’m ready to play and do what I always do,” Jones said, “and that’s go on the field and make those catches and those explosive plays for the team. Whatever he asks, whatever he has planned, I’m OK with any of it.”
