The Brooklyn Nets know who four out of their five starters are going to be already next season. Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Kevin Garnett and Brook Lopez all, for the most part, are already etched in the Nets lineup.

That leaves one open spot remaining that the Nets will need to fill. It’s only practice and plans can change, but during Wednesday’s practice, rookie Bojan Bogdanovic practiced with the Nets first unit as the fifth starter. Andrei Kirilenko, another potential fifth starter, remains out with a back injury.

Bogdanovic can provide another solid offensive presence to the Nets lineup.

Speaking of an offensive presence, the Nets will need Deron Williams to be just that this season. Williams had a day off during practice on Tuesday, but during Wednesday’s session, he was opening everyone’s eyes with his play.

Deron Williams looking really good has to be music to the Nets’ ears. It’s only practice, but you have to start somewhere.
