Two of the more underrated potential free agents in 2015 are Atlanta Hawks’ big man Paul Millsap and Minnesota Timberwolves’ forward Thaddeus Young.

Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders believes both Millsap and Young could be dealt this season because both can become free agents after the season.

"I’m someone who really believes that a team should trade a player on an expiring contract rather than risk losing that player in free agency, so guys like Rajon Rondo, Goran Dragic, Paul Millsap and Thaddeus Young are the first potential trade targets that come to mind. All of those players could hit unrestricted free agency next offseason, so if their respective teams don’t feel like they can re-sign them, it’s very possible that they’ll be shopped."

Millsap has been a steal for the the Hawks and with Al Horford returning, they believe they can make noise in the playoffs, meaning they will likely keep Millsap. The Timberwolves obviously coveted Young, acquiring him in the Kevin Love deal so it’d be a bit of a surprise if he were dealt as well.

Millsap went for 17.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 46.1% from the field, 35.8% from three and 73.1% from the foul line last season. In his eight-year career, he’s averaged 13.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 50.7% from the field, 32.9% from downtown and 72.4% from the foul line.

Young averaged 17.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game and shot 45.4% from the field, 30.8% from beyond the arc and 71.2% from the free throw line this season. In his career, he has put up 13.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 50.0% from the floor, 32.1% from three and 70.0% from the charity stripe.
