The Florida State Seminoles are still undefeated, and after the events of last weekend, are the definitive No. 1 team in the nation at this point as they search for their second consecutive national championship. However, they did get a scare last weekend when leading receiver Rashad Greene left the game against Wake Forest with a concussion.
Throughout the week, the question has been whether or not he will be available for action this Saturday when the ‘Noles take on the Syracuse Orange this weekend. Well, on Thursday, it was revealed by head coach Jimbo Fisher that Greene could indeed be good to go for some action this Saturday.
All that he needs is for the doctors to give him the final clearance.
Even if he is cleared by the doctors, they should get Greene out of the game the first chance that they get. With a huge home date with Notre Dame looming ahead next weekend, they don’t want to expose their top offensive weapon to anymore damage that could derail his chances of him playing in that showdown.
Should Florida State start putting it on Syracuse Saturday, don’t expect Greene to be in the game for long.
