Who are the NBA‘s most over/underrated stars?

The NBA is a league of stars and superstars. LeBron James and Kevin Durant are the ambassadors of the association now, but what makes the NBA so great is that each and every team has its own star (or two) for fans to hold near and dear to their hearts. But stars don’t stay young forever and even King James and the Durantula aren’t perfect.

With that in mind, it’s worth asking an important question heading into a new NBA season: Who are the most polarizing stars in the league that have fans divided? Which stars are the most overrated and which have become underrated? Here’s a look at some of the most controversial stars in the league who have become controversial as overrated or underrated.

We’ll be examining not only what makes each underrated and overrated, but then also make a final ruling on whether they receive too much hype, not enough appreciation, or are mostly properly rated as is.
