This year in fantasy football, no position has undergone radical overhaul as much as the wide receiver position.  The WR rankings heading into week 7 are completely different than those at the start of the season.  As you make your lineup decisions, check out the top 25 WR to start for week 7 in the post below.

More from Fantasy Football

Part of the big change in the rankings is due to some major injuries.  A.J. Green and Calvin Johnson are expected to return later this season, but they won’t suit up this week. Victor Cruz and Marvin Jones both went on IR this week meaning they won’t return at all this season.  Their absences and the matchups that many of the better receivers are in results in a big shakeup of the top 25 board.  There are a number of new names on this list this week, so double check your bench, your matchups, and even the waiver wire before locking in your starters for this week.

Throughout the rest of the weekend, you can check back throughout for more injury information, sleeper starters, and other goodies which can help you get a big win this week as we pass the half-way point in most fantasy leagues’ regular seasons. There are a number of resources on lineup and waiver wire help at our fantasy football page with the most recent posts also listed in the box above.

Most leagues go deeper than just these 25 options, and if you have questions about your flex spot or other options not on this list, find us on twitter @FansidedFantasy where there’s always plenty of chatter on the latest fantasy happenings.

Here are the top 25 wide receivers to start week 7 with the first five here and the next two groups of 10 on the following two slides:

Jordy Nelson. 1. player. 49. Nelson takes over the top spot this week by a narrow margin over Demaryius Thomas based on his matchup  as the Packers host Carolina who allow the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing WR.  In their last four games the Panthers have allowed eight wide receiver touchdowns which should lead to a huge game for Nelson who has found the end zone in four of his last five games.. Green Bay Packers. Week 7 vs Panthers

Week 7 vs 49ers. Demaryius Thomas. 2. player. 45. Thomas is on fire hauling in 18 passes for three touchdowns and 350 yards in the two weeks since the Broncos bye week.  The only reason he’s slightly behind Nelson is that the Broncos face San Francisco who haven’t allowed an opposing WR touchdown since week 3 and have held opposing WR under 100 total yards the last two weeks.  Those things will both probably change this week, but Thomas may not have quite the bonanza of fantasy points his owners have gotten the last couple of weeks.. Denver Broncos

3. player. 123. Bryant and the Cowboys are at home against their division rivals the Giants this week. Last week, he hauled in four catches for 63 yards against the Legion of Boom although he failed to find the end zone for the first time since week 1.  Expect him to be heavily involved and heavily targeted this week at home where he and Tony Romo usually fire on all cylinders.  . Dallas Cowboys. Week 7 vs Giants. Dez Bryant

Pittsburgh Steelers. Week 7 vs Texans. Antonio Brown. 4. player. 55. Brown continues to be one of the few true elite options who is fully healthy and the clear #1 option in their team’s passing attack.  If you have Brown on Monday Night Football, you can expect good production against a Texans D that has allowed opposing WR’s to find the end zone in every game since week 1.

Week 7 vs Dolphins. Brandon Marshall. 5. player. 57. Marshall is coming off his first 100-yard game of the season as the Bears welcome his former team to town as he takes on the Dolphins.  It’s not quite a Steve Smith level of revenge, but expect Marshall to enjoy sticking it to his former team where he never quite fit into their offensive attack.  He has battled an ankle injury this season, but last week would seem to indicate he’s starting to put that totally behind him.. Chicago Bears
