The Cleveland Browns led the Jacksonville Jaguars for most of the first half, before Blake Bortles found Allen Robinson for a go-ahead touchdown.

This is so Cleveland Browns.

Coming off just their third win in their last 23 games against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Browns are struggling to bounce back, trailing the Jacksonville Jaguars 7-6 at halftime at EverBank Field.

The Browns actually led for much of the first half, intercepting rookie quarterback Blake Bortles twice, but Bortles and Allen Robinson hooked up for a 31-yard touchdown—the lone touchdown of the first half—with 27 seconds left in the second quarter to take a 7-6 lead into the locker room.

Brian Hoyer is throwing the ball much more like a guy who has struggled to stay on a roster than the guy who has led the Browns to a 3-2 start and has led Cleveland to six wins in his eight starts over the last two seasons.

Hoyer is just 8-for-21 for 88 yards at halftime and the Browns rushing attack has managed just 2.8 yards per carry.

Bortles, meanwhile, went 9-for-15 in the first half for 103 yards, but was picked off twice. Denard Robinson, starting in place of injured Toby Gerhart, has run for 67 yards on 10 carries as the 32nd-ranked rushing offense in the NFL has piled up 81 yards and a 5.8-yard-per-carry average.

But Cleveland shouldn’t be too daunted by a one-point halftime deficit to the Jaguars—Jacksonville led 17-0 at Philadelphia in their opener before giving up 34 unanswered points after intermission.
