The Bills are 3-3 and coming off of a loss to the New England Patriots. The Minnesota Vikings are reeling and have fallen to 2-4.
A rather uneventful first quarter saw the Vikings take a 3-0 lead into the second quarter. That’s when the Bills got a break. Teddy Bridgewater went back to pass and was intercepted by Leodis McKelvin. One play later, Kyle Orton found Sammy Watkins for a 26-yard touchdown pass to put the Bills up 7-3.
Sammy Watkins has gotten his rookie season off to a solid start and may be having his best game. He has five catches for 68 yards and has been targeted by Kyle Orton nine times. If he continues to improve, the Bills’ decision to trade up for him could really work out.
