Former NBA Stars Form ‘Big Three’ In China (Photo)

Former NBA players Yao Ming, Michael Beasley and Delonte West are now all members of the Shanghai Sharks basketball team in China, and the three posed for a sweet picture.
NBA players heading overseas to play in China isn’t a new thing, but having a former NBA superstar own one of the Chinese teams is relatively new, even if there’s a natural connection with Yao Ming. The former Houston Rockets center is still really tall, and now he’s been adding some fringe former NBA talent to his Shanghai Sharks team.

Former 2008 number-two-overall pick Michael Beasley left camp with the Memphis Grizzlies, and signed a one-year deal with the Sharks, but he’s apparently not the only ex-NBA player Yao picked up. Former Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West is also with the Sharks, leading to this awesome picture of the three together:
Beasley’s caption is admittedly pretty funny, and there are assuredly jokes to be made here, considering both Beasley and West have had their share of off-the-court issues, but hopefully their experiences in China are positive ones, particularly for Beasley, who is just 25 and could re-emerge in the NBA if he proves he can be productive and stay out of trouble while with the Sharks.
