Kansas City is fired up for the World Series and Chiefs’ backup quarterback Chase Daniel made a wish come true by raffling off two tickets to Game 1 Tuesday.

The Kansas City Royals being in the World Series for the first time in 29 years is a dream come true for many of their fans.

Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback Chase Daniel made some wishes come true for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by raffling off two dugout plaza seats to Game 1 of the World Series against the San Francisco Giants Tuesday night.

The raffle was conducted on netRaffle.com and entrants paid $2 per entry, with the proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Missouri.

The winner, Jenifer Lynn Gulvik of Kansas City, received the tickets, $200 in cash for transportation, parking and other expenses and a cash prize of $864.50 to cover the tax liability for the prize.

NetRaffle is a business model designed to give fans access to experiences they might not otherwise be able to afford while also helping celebrities raise funds for charitable causes.

According to netRaffle, between 86.5 percent and 90 percent of the funds raised go to the charities promoted. It is operated by the Celebrities for Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1997.

CFC provides celebrities with processing and fulfillment services to help them manage the requests for assistance they receive from charities, with a primary goal of the foundation to increase the accessibility of charities to celebrities.
