No. 32-29

32. Teddy Bridgewater – Minnesota Vikings

I believe in Teddy Bridgewater. I think he’ll be the Vikings starter for the next decade and will have a very good NFL career. However, early in his young career he is off to a bit of a slow start with just one TD and five interceptions. He also has the lowest QB Rating and ESPN QBR Rating of any current NFL starter. The future is promising for Bridgewater, but he’s not there yet.

31. Geno Smith – New York Jets

This season hasn’t gone very well for Geno Smith and the Jets. New York’s plan to help Geno develop was to bring in Eric Decker and Chris Johnson to bolster their offensive firepower. That didn’t work (surprise, surprise) so now they are giving him the disgruntled Percy Harvin to try and get the offense going. Let’s hope for Geno’s sake that he and Harvin hit it off. If not, they could both find themselves out of a job sooner rather than later.

30. Blake Bortles – Jacksonville Jaguars

Similar to what I said about Teddy Bridgewater, I think Blake Bortles is going to be a really good NFL QB. However, also similar to Bridgewater, Bortles is suffering some growing pains with five TDs compared to ten interceptions early in the season. Jacksonville still has some holes in their roster to fill, but I think with a little more experience that Bortles will eventually be the answer at the QB position.

29. Colt McCoy – Washington Redskins

If someone wanted to make an argument that Colt McCoy should be ranked #32 on this list, I wouldn’t argue with them. However, in McCoy’s one appearance this season (last week) he went 11/12 for 128 yards with one TD and no interceptions. While sample size is WAY too small, his 92% completion percentage and 10.7 YPA and no interceptions is better than the last three guys on this list have done. I wouldn’t want McCoy as my long term QB, but until he falters I’ll keep him slightly above Bortles, Geno, and Teddy.
