Peyton Manning had another stellar day, as he extended his NFL record for career passing touchdowns.

When the final whistle blew, it was Manning and the Broncos who were able to earn their sixth win of the regular season by taking out the Chargers, 35-21. The Chargers fall to 5-3.

The scoring started off in the second quarter, when Manning found wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders for a two-yard touchdown pass. San Diego answered ten minutes later, before Manning hit Sanders for the second time to take a 14-7 lead into the half.

Manning found Sanders once again right out of the gate in the third quarter and Juwan Thompson added a two-yard rushing touchdown to extend Denver’s lead to 28-7.

Philip Rivers found Antonio Gates on two occasions to make things closer.

Unfortunately for the Chargers, with the score within two scores, Rivers made a poor decision and tossed an interception to Rahim Moore. It was Rivers’ second interception of the night.

Ultimately, Manning and the Broncos were too much.

Manning finished the game with 286 yards and three touchdowns. Sanders hauled in 9 catches for 120 yards, including the three touchdowns. Denver also got strong performances from Demaryius Thomas, who grabbed 8 passes for 105 yards, and running back Ronnie Hillman, who eclipsed the century mark on the ground with 109 yards.
