Miami Dolphins vs Jacksonville Jaguars

The Miami Dolphins (3-3) and Jacksonville Jaguars (1-6) are each coming off big wins. The Dolphins already have one of the stingiest defenses in the NFL and now the offense seems to be catching up. Ryan Tannehill is coming off one of the more impressive performances of his career, completing 78 percent of his passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Chicago Bears. Rookie Blake Bortles leads the Jaguars. It’s been rough going for Bortles, who has 10 interceptions in five games. The Dolphins defense has allowed the second-fewest passing yards this season and has sacked the quarterback 17 times this season.

Keys to Victory

The Jaguars have the worst-ranked pass defense in the NFL and Tannehill enters the game with plenty of confidence. In the last three games, Tannehill’s had quarterback ratings of 109.3, 83.3 and 123.6. He’s completing a large percentage of his passes and has been more efficient on the deep ball. Meanwhile Mike Wallace, who has at least 70 yards receiving and/or a touchdown in every game this season, will be handful for the Jaguars corners Demetrius McCray and Alan Ball.

Betting Odds

Prediction

The Dolphins could be 3-0 in the last three games if Aaron Rodgers wasn’t so darn good. They will keep rolling against the Jaguars, pressuring Blake Bortles, establishing the run on offense and taking advantage of a week Jaguars secondary through the play action pass.

Final Score: Miami Dolphins 31, Jacksonville Jaguars 17
