For a very select few, the NBA game comes incredibly easy. Almost too easy, if you can believe that.
There have been suggestions that Kobe Bryant will at times create false scenarios to motivate himself and he can pick and choose when he wants to have a big game. The same can be said for LeBron James as a Cleveland Cavaliers teammate essentially suggested the NBA icon is a puppet master of the roster.
The teammate, who remains unnamed currently suggested that LeBron James can simply pick and choose when he himself wants to have a big game and can pick and choose as to which one of his teammates will have a good game because of him.
"In discussing LeBron James’ impact on a game, one current Cavs player put it this way: “He can decide who he wants to get going and who he wants to have a big game. You saw it a couple weeks ago with Kevin (Love) and the other night with Andy (Varejao).”"
While that might be a little bit of the extended truth, the base form of the suggestion does seem to hold weight. If LeBron James singles out a teammate that he wants to have a good game, he can probably make it happen with relative ease. That’s not something many NBA players can say outside of a very select few who will eventually find themselves in the Hall of Fame.
LeBron James is without a doubt the top player in the NBA when it comes to making those around him better players and will continue to be such for the foreseeable future. Everybody is subject to an off night here or there, LeBron James being no exception, but for the most part it’s hard to deny that he essentially holds the strings over the Cleveland Cavaliers’ offense.
