With Thursday Night Football pitting two of the best quarterbacks in football against each other on a short week, it will be interesting to see which one had a better week of preparation.
The Denver Broncos will welcome in the San Diego Chargers. Denver beat the San Francisco 49ers less than a week ago, and their defense shut down Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense. Peyton Manning set a new touchdown pass record in the process.
San Diego will be looking to rebound from a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite San Diego seemingly rolling, Philip Rivers wasn’t able to get much going and the Andy Reid led Chiefs knocked off San Diego.
Here is how Madden 15 sees the Thursday Night Football clash shaking out:
San Diego Chargers (21) Denver Broncos (24)
Peyton Manning 281 yards 1 touchdowns
Philip Rivers 297 yards 1 interceptions
Branden Oliver 17 carries 75 yards 2 touchdowns
Demaryius Thomas 13 receptions 134 yards 2 touchdowns
The way Madden 15 sees it, this will be a close matchup with plenty of offense. With Peyton Manning being held in check, at least by his standards, it was Demaryius Thomas doing all of the work.
Branden Oliver picked up the slack for a touchdown-less Rivers, as he delivered two of his own.
Plenty of points are going to be scored on Thursday night. With two high powered offenses, look for both San Diego and Denver to trade punches. Check back to see how Madden 15 did with its predictions and make sure to follow along throughout week 8.
