Keys to Victory
The key for Arizona to win their third straight win and snap the Eagles two-game winning streak is continuing to play strong run defense and limit space McCoy has to run when he gets the ball. The Cardinals have the league’s best rush defense, but face last year’s rushing champion who has 422 yards and a lone touchdown while averaging 3.6 yards per carry.
However, he is coming off his best game of the year when he ran for 149 yards on 22 carries against the New York Giants.
The Eagles may have Darren Sproles for this game if he can get through the week without any setbacks to his sprained MCL, but if they can take away the run game they’ll be able to force Nick Foles and the Eagles to be one-dimensional.
Philadelphia returns from their bye week healthier with Sproles likely to play and linebacker Mychal Kendricks returning to practice after missing the previous four games.
The Eagles shutout the Giants in their last game and have had a nose for the end zone this year, so while they rank 23rd in pass and rush defense, they need to win the turnover battle and win the field position game against a stingy Cardinals defense.

Prediction
I really like what Bruce Arians is doing at Arizona and getting Palmer back last week was a nice shot in the arm for the team who has won 10 of the last 12 games that Palmer has started and I think that number increases to 11 with Palmer, Floyd and Fitzgerald finding success against the No. 23 pass defense.
McCoy is coming off his best game of the year, but he hasn’t faced a front as talented as this Cardinals defense that’s allowing 72.5 yards per game and while the Cardinals pass defense ranks 31st in the league, I think Patrick Peterson and the Arizona secondary pick off Foles — who already has seven interceptions on the year compared to two he had all of last year — two times and eke out the narrow home win.
Final Score: Eagles: 24, Cardinals: 27
