Texas A&M Aggies Cancel Home-And-Home Series With Oregon Ducks
Texas A&M cancelled their scheduled home-and-home series with Oregon and leaves the Ducks and Aggies looking for high-profile teams to fill their void on their future schedules
The Oregon Ducks and Texas A&M Aggies were set to play a home-and-home series beginning in 2018, but that has been cancelled after Texas A&M athletic director Eric Hyman exercised a clause that allowed them to get out of the deal if A&M changed conferences, according to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports.

Texas A&M and Oregon agreed to the home-and-home in 2009 when the Aggies were still in the Big 12 conference. They later joined the SEC and are currently in their third season in the SEC.
Oregon hoped to continue their agreement despite A&M fully entitled to exercising the previously agreed to clause, so now both programs are in the market to fill the void left on their schedules for 2018 and 2019 and Texas A&M may have to fight the public perception that they are scared of Oregon.
Texas A&M was scheduled to travel to Autzen Stadium in Eugene for a Sept. 15, 2018 game with Oregon heading south to College Station and Kyle Field for a Sept. 14, 2019 game.
Feldman did not mention possible opponent or opponents who could fill the opening on both these programs, but with the College Football Playoff committee expected to place a heavy emphasis on strength of schedule, it would make sense that neither of these programs will be scheduling any cupcakes to ensure they have a strong case for the committee in the coming years.
UPDATE: Texas A&M and Clemson have agreed to a home-and-home series in 2018 and 2019.
The Aggies currently have no non-conference opponents scheduled for 2018.
Who do you think Oregon and Texas A&M should try and schedule a series with in 2018 and 2019?
