Kyle Fuller has been one of the few bright spots for the Chicago Bears defense this year and the first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft will not miss any time with his broken hand and hip pointer suffered in last week’s loss to the Miami Dolphins

The Chicago Bears are reeling after a 27-14 loss to the Dolphins last week that set off an emotional scene in the locker room after the game with Brandon Marshall getting emotional and calling the loss unacceptable. With the Bears facing the New England Patriots and Tom Brady on Sunday, they’ll need all bodies on defense healthy to slow down that offensive attack.

Thankfully for the Bears they will have rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller available for the game after he broke his hand and suffered a hip pointer in last week’s loss. Fuller hasn’t missed a rep in practice all week while wearing a plastic brace on his hand, but is unsure if he will wear it during the game.

The rookie cornerback was tied for the league lead with three interceptions and three forced fumbles entering the Week 7 game as the No. 14 overall pick in the draft has been one of the few bright spots on the defense.

Fuller has played admirably since Charles Tillman was lost for the season with a triceps injury and has arguably been one of the two or three best players for Mel Tucker’s defense this year. The Bears will need Fuller at his best with the Bears heading to New England to take on Brady and the Patriots.
