Nash had been hoping to play another season or two before hanging up his jersey for good, but it appears he’ll have to wait another year to see if he has another chance. Even then, there’s a strong possibility that this could be the end of the road for one of the best point guards in NBA history. Now we know how much he’ll be missed.
The respect is undeniable for Nash, despite the last few tumultuous seasons in Los Angeles, where Nash has hardly played time. Back issues have dogged him since his days in Dallas and now it appears that things have to come to a head for Nash, whose contract expires after the upcoming NBA season.
