This week our college football injury report moves from the AP Top 25, to the newly ranked College Football Playoff Top 25.

As we enter the tenth week of the 2014 college football season, a new wrinkle has been added with the dawning of the College Football Playoff. The 12-person committee has released their Top 25, and moving forward for the remainder of the season, those are the teams that we will include in our injury watch.

Follow this report each week for updates on any injuries and returning players for teams in the Top 25. These updates will give you any and all to date information that has been supplied by the schools and coaches.

All reports are based on the best available information at the time of publication, but things can change quickly depending on the player, the coach and nature of the injury. Of course, some coaches refuse to share injury information with the media until just before game time.

Inside you’ll find new and updated injuries, as well as ongoing issues with players who are out indefinitely or even for the season. Links within the reports are to injury articles published on the FanSided team site for that particular school, where you’ll always get the best and most up to date information.

New to our report this week are the Louisville Cardinals and Duke Blue Devils, replacing the USC Trojans and Marshall Thundering Herd, who did not make it into the CFP Top 25.

Here are the injuries  the Playoff Top 25 teams have to deal with this week.
