The Columbus Blue Jackets get mocked for slew of injuries by Columbus Dispatch cartoon

More from Columbus Blue Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets have become the new Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. Seriously, I never have any idea who I’m going to see on the ice, because chances are whoever I expected to watch on a line is probably out injured. Anyone who drafted heavily from Columbus for their fantasy team is probably pulling his hair out right about now.

Anyways.

The Columbus Dispatch apparently feels, the same way, because they’ve released literally the sassiest cartoon on the planet, mocking the team for all it’s injuries.

The cartoon shows everything from the team’s national anthem singer biting his tongue to the team’s mascot, Stinger, contracting Ebola. Of course, we’ve all got to hop on that Ebola train…

As the team with the strongest Twitter game, I’m beginning to suspect that whoever runs the team’s social media is in cahoots with the cartoon artist who did this.

Of course, I do wish a safe and speedy recovery to the 8,323,143,978 million Columbus Blue Jackets roster players who are injured at the moment, and am in no way hoping that they continue on this trend.
